Visual improvements to CE's branding for their Incubation Program.

Charity Entrepreneurship is a research and training program that incubates multiple high-impact charities annually.

During my internship I had the opportunity to work on many projects, one of which was improving their logo. Since the organisation was in the middle of their busiest period of the year - the time of the Incubation Program, the changes to their branding signature had to be kept minimal. The following image illustrates my work process for this task. The one that was approved for further use is Version 4.
I have also worked on creating a mini version of CE's logo. The image below is a collection of some of my ideations.

Design 1b is the one that got the most attention. It combines:
  • an image of a globe (international incubatees),
  • a power plant (a place where they learn),
  • two keys (two founders of a high-impact charity that went through CE's incubation program).
The mark also combines the initials "С" and "E", having them bound together. This allows the logo to become a pattern in future designs.
As Charity Entrepreneurship had to adapt to COVID-19 safety-measures, their Incubation Program switched to remote learning, and it had to be presented in a new, digital format. Alongside editing the videos for the program (some of which are publicly available in the course - “How to make effective decisions”), I animated CE's improved logo for an intro and an outro to be used for each video.
Furthermore, I won an internal contest between designs submitted by incubatees for the cover of Charity Entrepreneurship's first edition handbook for nonprofit entrepreneurs.

Here are some variants I created, over iterations of feedback, followed by the one that was chosen by a vote.
