I have designed a collection for the 'Charles Jeffrey Loverboy' x British Fashion Council competition based around the concept of 'The Dressing-up box'. Inspired by the playfulness and freedom of children playing different characters and alter egos in an eclectic way with what they have to hand. Silhouettes were inspired by both the exaggerated shapes of children wearing adult clothes and the opposite of those pieces treasured and held onto long after they fit appropriately. Details were pulled from the layering of different characters and of belts to attach the costumes to the body.
