Chicago-style Italian Beef Sandwich Editorial Illustration and Animation for Los Angeles Times

A bright and colorful animated editorial illustration for the Los Angeles times to suit an article on Chicago-style Italian beef sandwiches by Lucas Kwan Peterson. This food editorial illustration was commissioned by Art Director Kay Lai Scanlan for an article about Italian Beef sandwiches in Los Angeles in September 2022. As the illustrator, I created three sketches and developed one into the final illustration that was used for both print and online versions of the article in the Weekend section of the LA Times Food section.
