The exploration of the short fashion film was a part of the University Fashion Film + Marketing project. The aim was to research a brand of your choice to understand it better and analyse its market and needs. That was meant to lead to producing a creative response for their needs in the form of short fashion film. The brand established as ready-to-wear fashion house had a strong vision from the very beginning. It has been grown by the founder Gaby Aghion, but as the time has passed it felt like the brand has lost that sparkle somewhere. Through the years the beautiful philosophy of strong, pure femininity has been pushed to the background while Creative Directors have been focusing on following the trends and making the brand more modern. My approach to the brand and my film is to give tribute to the brand and its values. As one of the outcomes of the project, I have created Market Report and Film Treatment presentation, which explains my aims and includes full brand analysis, as well as describes my filming techniques and process of the production.
