‘Chopped Sticks’

This is a critical design which is a pencil sharpener that will determine whether the pencil used by the customer comes from sustainable forest wood and print the corresponding receipt. If pencils are made from illegally sourced wood, the content on the receipt will be: How many species of organisms have been extinct this year due to illegal logging of trees? If it is wood from legitimate sources, the content on the receipt will provide some websites and communities to encourage you to continue protecting forests. The main purpose of this design is to satirize and alert consumers, paying attention to distinguishing whether the source of wood is legal when purchasing wood products, and eliminating potential support for illegal logging of forests.
