Cicatrix, 14-18-NOW Project Final Outcome

For this project, I took inspiration from the letters to an unknown soldier which was a project created by 14-18-NOW. I read one of the letters and created soundwaves from the words which were then embroidered onto the coat with thread and wire. The design was inspired by the Great coat being worn by the statue in Paddington Station and was created using old army blankets.
