The multi-use Arena Pernambuco, located in the western suburbs of Recife, was one of the official host venues for the 2013 FIFA Confederations Cup ™ and 2014 FIFA World Cup ™.
We made two films, a website and an interactive iPad-friendly bit of wizardry to launch the stadium in Recife. In the first film, a team of kids pulls off a magical David versus Goliath victory over older adversaries. In the second, the audience is taken on a POV tour of the future stadium. The interactive enables the user to explore the view from different seats, compare views, and then buytickets. The filming was completed on location in Brazil, with a Phantom 500 for the slow motion scenes.
