Circus people
This is a personal project based on vintage circus. All the illustrations are inspired by people working in a circus during 1900's.
A happy clown from the early 1900's.
Miss May Martin. 1905. One of the greatest acrobats on horseback of all times. However she was also an acrobat and tightrope walker.
Lorraine Chevalier. Born around 1919. Lorraine was a contortionist, dancer and an acrobat who performed in 1935.
Millie and Christine McCoy. Also known as "The Carolina Twins" and "The Two-headed Nightingale". They were born in 1851 and travelled throughout the world performing for entertainment and even Queen Victoria.
