citizenM, The Independent Business Traveller
At citizenM, the question "are you travelling for work or play" doesn't exist. These hotels were built with global entrepreneurs in mind, making business travel fun and easy. In 2019, while at SUITCASE, I helped produce a social campaign that highlighted this, showing how for citizenM guests, work means play.
Moving away from depictions of hackneyed corporate men in suits, we shot a three-part video series focusing on real-life creative entrepreneurs. Journeying from London to Copenhagen and finally New York, we delved into the working day of Marine Tanguy, founder of MTArt agency, Morten Nordstrom, travel photographer and Frank Pinello, founder of Best Pizza.
As the junior producer, I was responsible for identifying and managing talent, assisting in the creative storyline, managing deliverables, organising logistics for the shoot: transport, accommodation, managing the day to day budget and liaising the edits between video production and the client.
