How do the visually impaired make tea? A tea brand where the visually impaired are the main focus in design and packaging.

BRIEF
How do the visually inpaired make tea? Brand and design a piece of packaging designed for the Visually Impaired that considers their challenges and limitations in life.

INSIGHT
Almost 2million people in the UK are living with sight loss, that's approximately 1 person in every 30. Sight loss affects people of all ages, however this is an increasing risk as we get older. Even through 'Braile' is one of the most commonly used ways in communicating with the visually imparied, fewer than 1% of the 2millon visually impaired people are users of 'Braile'.

SOLUTION
'ClariTea' uses capsule technology, so that the individual never has to pour the hot water. The capsule form also produces exceptional taste and clarity, as well as cuts brewing time up to 90%.

Logo Design
Writing is always paired with embossed 'Moon type'. Moon is intended for blind or partially sighted people of any age. As the characters are fairly large and over half the letters bear a strong resemblance to the print equivalent, Moon has been found particularly suitable for those who lose their sight later in life, or for people who may have a less keen sense of touch.
Packaging Design
The packaging its self has a bucket system which would drop one capsule at a time into the bucket once one is removed, as to help with convenience and ease for the individual.
