After a successful project in July 2019, Clarks Originals asked us to create a showroom space for Paris Fashion Week 2020. Due to the hectic nature of Fashion Week, buyers and influencers have meetings all-day-everyday, so we needed to create a meeting space and brand experience that would stand out. Our team transformed the two-story space in Le Marais into a multi-faceted showroom, with a number of private meeting spaces. On the first floor, we created a gallery of branded images which demonstrated Clarks strong connection with Jamaican street-culture, using backlit images, video and print to deliver a stunning showroom. We also created various manifestations of their iconic Desert Boot using 3D printing technologies which demonstrated each stage of the manufacturing process. On the second floor, we created the ultimate product display using bespoke hero-display units. The room was branded using wall vinyls, and television screens played footage which explained Clarks Originals brand story. Guests were met by our friendly front of house staff and offered drinks and canapes as they arrived for their meetings. Each meeting space was designed with comfort in mind, with a range of plants and natural materials used throughout, in an attempt to provide a moment of tranquillity in their busy week. Thursday was the night chosen for the brand's invite-only event where a VIP guest list of media, brand ambassadors, buyers and influencers come together. For the event, we created a number of unique deliverables, such as a sculpture made from 16 Desert Boots. Artist 'Endless' performed a live art piece on the sculpture using a mixture of spray paint and fire to create a one-off piece. Elsewhere artist 'Stain Shade' used a custom-designed station to tie-dye Desert Boots live for guests at the event. We set up a step and repeat wall for the event and our photographer spent the evening taking shots, which were then provided to Clarks so that the content could be uploaded in real-time. Guests included Maya Jama, Kano, Skepta, Zac Abel, IAMDDB, Lila Ike and more...
