Classic Lodges is a collection of handpicked boutique hotels based in the UK. The brief was to bring the brand up to date and give the website a new look and feel.
A structural overhaul was needed, as the current site was overwhelmed with information, making it impossible for end-users to find what they wanted. This lack of structure caused low click-through rates for bookings with many choosing to call through to book instead.
The user journey was vital for the success of the website as there was such a vast body of information. I split the site up into digestible modules, guiding users to crucial points. A site map and user flow were created at the beginning of the project ensure that nothing was missed.
Each hotel is unique; therefore, each page has its hand-drawn illustrations demonstrating the hotel’s diverse architecture and unique features. It gives each page its personality, allowing users to see each hotel’s unique features and charm.
