Clean Eating & Wellness: The Toxic Truth

  • Heather Barclay
Clean eating is a craze that has hit the world hard the past few years, but is it really all it seems. There has been a recent backlash against the diet, with the realisation that when clean is taken to extreme, it’s not so healthy. This book takes a look at the broad spectrum of clean eating from the rules and regulations of this fad diet, to the influencers that make it so popular and the darker side of the diet.
The aim of this book is to shed light on a fad that is happening right now, although the publication is an informative piece on the subject it does not take itself to seriously, there is a sense of humour to it. As this fad is happening at present the piece is very relateable and makes the reader think twice and realise that clean eating is everywhere around us and maybe not the diet we should be lusting over.
