Client and Colour module

In my first year of university, I completed a client and colour module where I had the opportunity to explore different techniques, such as print, embroidery, and weave. For this project, I drew inspiration from the iconic Grace Jones, whose bold, avant-garde style influenced my creative direction. I focused on translating her striking use of color and geometric shapes into my designs, incorporating vibrant patterns and textures to capture her essence. The module allowed me to experiment with various fabric manipulation techniques, blending Jones’ fearless aesthetic with contemporary approaches to textile design.
