We’re commissioning two films of real people who find unique and interesting uses for their energy. We want to hear about them and their passion, and how they might use the Nissan ecosystem to 'power their passion'.
They should be be real people whose stories can be told in an interesting and engaging way, as well as keeping a human angle. Note this campaign is mainly social so this will need to be kept in mind for your ideas and the finished film.
In particular, we want to focus on two types of people:
1. The enterprising business-owner:
We want to find people who are passionate about their business – it’s not just a job, it’s a calling. It could be someone who’s brought a small local cinema back to life, or runs a small factory in their garden shed. What would they do with the energy they could get back?
2. The enthusiastic hobbyist:
We want to find people and show how Nissan Energy can power a unique interest and/or family life.
AS A FIRST STEP, WE WOULD LIKE TO SEE A SHORT PITCH WITH YOUR SUGGESTIONS OF PEOPLE WHO USE ELECTRICITY IN INTERESTING AND UNIQUE WAYS.
In your pitch you should include examples of your previous work and any references think would give the look and feel of the film you want to make.
Please note that we would like to include the energy solution products (both their installation and use) and vehicles to show how it’s helped ‘power their passion’. You won’t need to show your protagonist’s ‘upscaling’ of their passion, but rather have them talk through the benefits or changes the ecosystem has brought.
PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A UK-ONLY SHOOT.
The deadline for submitting your pitch is 23:59 (GMT) Wednesday 19th September 2018.
