What we’re after:
Cesar are looking to create a suite of UGC-style social posts that show us what Sundays are for. To do this we’re looking for clips of the menial Sunday chores or 'duties' to contrast against clips of what Sundays are really all about, spending time with your fluffy best friend.
For this brief, we’d like you to send in scenarios of a dog-owning friend or family member doing chores and/or duty-bound obligations that have to be done on a Sunday - and what they do with their dogs in their leisure time.
We'll then pair your duty+fun clips together to create our social posts.
Here are a few specifics to bear in mind:
Your dog-owner has to have a white West Highland terrier (a ‘Westie’);
You should think of the duty/fun clips as separate but linked by the same person; so you’d film your dog-owner doing a chore on their own (vacuuming, mowing the lawn, doing laundry) or attending some obligation – and the same person then doing something with their dog (watching TV together, playing frisbee in the park);
The fun activities needn’t be all active, your suggested doggie downtime can equally be about chilling on the sofa or sunbathing on the beach as much as it could be taking a walk or swimming in a lake.
Simply send in your scenario(s) and those selected to shoot will be paid £1500 to shoot their pair of clips. Note that you can propose more than one work/play scenario in your proposal.
It’s a global brief, so while vacuuming/sweeping the living room may be the same chore the world over, we’re looking not only for location diversity but also whether there are any culturally-specific chores/duties in certain places.
In your proposal please write what will happen in each scenario and where you are shooting it, to give it some context, as well as a bit of detail on how you’ll shoot it (the set-up, angle etc), and if you have a photo of the person (and dog) and location you’re intending to film that will give us a better understanding and increase the chances of getting commissioned.
