Clothing Design, Sustainability & Exporing Foreign Markets

Less Can Be More For this project, I designed six piece range of clothing for an already existing brand (B-Side) and created a marketing campaign to launch the products into the Korean streetwear market.

Clothing Details

These slides portray details on the available colourways, fabrics, price ranges and sizes of the collection that I hand drew and coloured using Photoshop. I created a new logo for B-Side that links with the sustainable aspect if this range through the use of waves/an oceanic background of the lettering; this can be seen on the the hoodie.

When designing this range, I took inspiration from B-Side's other drops as well as my own personal knowledge of street style and ideas on what I would like to see further in this genre of fashion.

Social Media Marketing

Pop-up Shop
The first advertising plan for the clothing launch I chose was a pop-up shop. I shot and edited pictures to act as large flyers for the visual merchandising of the temporary store and styled using clothing and accessories from the range.

Billboard
Another marketing concept I created is a large billboard with the B-Side promotional pictures all shot, modelled and edited by myself. This would be placed in an area with high footfall encouraging people to visit the website to shop for unique clothing and experience it's immersing visuals.

Instagram
To connect my sustainable launch with Korea's streetwear scene, I decided on making a second Instagram account for the brand named @bsidekorea. Through this, I could create and market content specifically to the Korean audience; using popular South-Korean influencers, posting about visual marketing or events in prominent areas and using the Korean language on the page, to engage with this new audience effectively.
