Reuben George Harris Instagram: @Reuben.Harris Based London/Sunderland I am a designer and artist using illustration and collage to expand the vision for my garments and creative world. Drawing influences from Londons queer rave scene, family heritage, queerness I merge them all together to create these artworks that speak to each demographic I see myself as a part of. Thus building a sense of community around my work. My garments spur on new creative ideas that I then use to reinforce my imagined world; I do this through photography, illustration, video and whatever else piques my interest. This project was to wholly round up a series of garments I was working on. I needed to visually convey the world that my clothes come from but I didn’t have the means to do a photoshoot. Instead I utilised illustration and digital collage as an alternative. Techniques that go into making a project like this range from pattern cutting and sewing to photoshop and illustrator.
