“I would call myself a creative technologist and strategist; I am interested in using emerging technologies to create immersive artwork and enjoy using software such as Blender, Unity and Unreal Engine, although I am more interested in why and how new technologies are being used in marketing and using theory to conceptualise ideas.
"The exhibition is a collaboration between myself and local fashion designer Dylan Furness. Dylan is wanting to launch his brand and I have just finished my masters degree in Gaming and Extended Reality, where I focussed on how brands are using XR technologies to bring consumers into physical spaces. I wanted to create my own event, and Dylan has a strong brand aesthetic that I thought would be perfect for world building. Our aim is to bring Dylan's collection to life using my knowledge of XR tech to create an immersive and unique experience, completely transporting visitors to the world of Dylan's designs. The exhibition includes AR enhanced photography, a mixed reality headset game, sensory experiences and a sculptural display of Dylan’s clothing.
