With our Photosynthetic Coating™, we breathed life into a dress dreamed up by the design team at mcq and divine artist Tsunaina. Together, we created a living dress that is colonised by our ecological allies — cyanobacteria & algae, to inhale CO2, exhale oxygen. Like this dress, which requires special care and love, boundary-pushing ideas must be nurtured. This collective creation embodied the pivotal question: would you love & treat your garment differently if it's alive? With air moisture and a bit of light, we can all have a little symbiotic pet.
