COME ON IN LIFE JOURNEYS: Loughborough Farm
In 2019 T.S Eliot prize winning poet and musician Anthony Joseph, and composer Adam Walters met with volunteers from Loughborough Farm in Lambeth. Their interviews have been transformed into song-poems elevating the everyday to the wondrous through their evocative words and music. After COVID disruption of our planned tour, in 2022, StrongBack Productions and Speaking Volumes brought on film director Destinie Paige to re-imagine this collection of song poems.
Our first edition, Life Journeys, a collaboration with Speaking Volumes Live Literature Productions, is an invitation to each of us to stop for a moment, look at what surrounds us, look the people that we daily pass by and ask ourselves…what is that person’s life like?

The Loughborough Farm is a patchwork of community growing spaces in the heart of Loughborough Junction, South London. Volunteers from diverse backgrounds come together to grow, learn, work and have fun.
