Comic Sans for Cancer | London charity exhibition

Poster design for charity exhibition 'Comic Sans for Cancer', a collection of posters inspired by the 20th anniversary of the controversial typeface Comic Sans.

The design makes use of different facial expressions and emotions, all illustrated in Comic Sans different glyphs. The concept behind the poster can firstly be viewed as individuals reactions when they see comic sans in use, on a more serious note it also portrays the different emotions a cancer patient and their family can go through - from diagnosis to the potential for recovery.

The work was exhibited at The Proud Archivist (London) from the 20th - 24th August 2014.

The design was also featured on Eye Magazine.
