For my commercial and product photography project with Faradj Studios, the goal was to encapsulate the brand’s essence of authentic urban London style with a sophisticated edge. Each shoot was meticulously tailored to align with the specific collection being released, ensuring that the imagery not only showcased the streetwear in its best light but also told a compelling story that resonated with the target audience. To achieve this, I curated diverse settings that reflected the dynamic energy of London’s streets, juxtaposing gritty urban backdrops with elements of luxury and refinement. For instance, for the release of the new football jersey collection, the Westway football pitch served as a vibrant and culturally resonant backdrop, perfectly capturing the spirit of the sport and its deep-rooted connection to the urban community. This setting provided an authentic and relatable environment, highlighting the jersey’s design while linking it to the everyday experiences of local football enthusiasts. In addition to setting and composition, I utilized lighting techniques to enhance the textures and details of the garments, ensuring that each piece was presented with the vibrancy and authenticity that Faradj Studios embodies. By combining these visual elements with strategic storytelling, the photographs effectively connected with customers, conveying both the brand’s unique identity and its luxurious, street-smart appeal.
