  • Samuel Eccles

1. Hardback Book w/ Letterpressed Cover, Essay: 9136 Words (176×250mm) 2. Poster (594×840mm) Taking inspiration from the French literary group OuLiPo and the Dutch Studio Moniker, who believe constraints are a highly productive method of creating output, this text seeks to validate Conditional Design as a fundamental method of supporting a student’s design education. Though this text should not be seen as an exhaustive dissection of Conditional Design, but its discoveries show if limitations are imposed in a non-arbitrary, they are a successful method of helping students make design decision. The dissertation and interviews have been hand bound as a hardback book.
