About the project Roberta, Jess and Catharina wanted this story to be all about casting in combination with mildly surreal elements that can be found in the everyday life. In the first scene of Jim Jarmusch’s movie ‘Permanent Vacation’, the main character talks about how he feels that all the people he has known in life, seem to him like a series of rooms. Their aim was to shoot a story which is structured around individuals, using a range of interesting characters and shooting them in a space with set design that will embellish the models personality.
