Over the past year, we have been developing a brand for Crane Cookware.
Crane is a small independent cookware company co-owned by product designer and ex-Royal College graduate Barnaby Tuke and food writer Charmain Ponnuthurai. The pans are designed in Wales and cast in Picardy, using the highest quality vitreous enamel and sand-casting.
‘A simple product made well’ was our basic remit for the project, and working with Nick Ballon, Michael Thomas and Have Music, we helped to create a series of images and short films that aimed to evoke the honesty of both the manufacturing process and product quality.
