I was able to jump on board to help Treatwell as their Event Planner for their annual corporate gatherings. With four months to organise every single detail, this is the largest event of the year, undertaking all the event production from start to finish. An incredibly exciting and rewarding experience. So what exactly did I do? - Broker a 400+ group deal with hotel - Locate and negotiate conditions with two venues - Attend weekly online meetings - Select videographer and photographer - Select food & beverage providers and decide on menus - Manage list of food allergies and intolerances for attendees - Design the atmosphere of the venues and source rentals - Source props and decorative elements based on the event theme - Create a communication plan for internal company use - Manage catering for Barcelona office day before and day of event - Propose team-building activity for day event - Select DJ and send playlist requests - Create master list of attendees and cross-reference with hotel - Manage global event budget - Select team to work with me on the day of the event - Liaise with insurance company - Manage payments and invoices - Oversee graphic design elements and print locally - Deal with sound and lighting, stage and projectors - Ensure all material for the event arrived correctly at each venue - On-site the day before, day of and day after event - Create floristry arrangements for party venue - Decorate party venue - Ensure every aspect of the event was moving forward smoothly
