The Creative Industries Council (CIC) announced their vision and strategy for the UK creative industries for 2020 at a star-studded event held at Facebook HQ in London on 2nd July 2014. Facebook's Nicola Mendelsohn hosted with speeches too from government representatives Vince Cable and Sajid Javid.
