Creativity Works: Video Projects

  • Abbas Mohsen
Throughout the Creativity Works: Multimedia Genius Course, I was given tasks to create videos with different briefs. The videos were to be kept between 60 and 90 seconds, with only a few hours to create the videos.
The first video was an online vlog style video, so as I have a keen fascination in film, I made a 60 second long review.
The second video was to be a documentary on an object that means something to me. I decided to do it on video games. I've played games since I was a toddler and they mean more to me than just getting a high score. I had complications with my equipment when making this video, which eventually gave me 2 hours to record, edit and submit this work, which unfortunately resulted in a lower quality than I would've liked.
The third video wasn't set for me to make, but was a short passion project for myself. I wanted to choreograph a video based on a piece of music I heard, as well as finally get myself to make a video based on one of my ideas. This was my first time creating and directing my own video, as well as my friend's first time acting.
