CRU strive to always use recycled materials for their packaging and printed materials. Their compact free taster box lets customers choose 2 coffee blends to try and the packaging introduces the customer to the brand, as well as outlining their USP’s to encourage people to sign up to their subscription service. A Tasting Guide is also included and features information on each blend, from taste notes to how to get the most from your coffee. It also engages and involve customers to share their moments with a cup of CRU. The development of CRU Kafe’s merchandise range is reflective of CRU’s ethos to be mindful of the environment – their special edition ‘Coffee is the New Black’ tote bag was successfully used as part of their Black Friday campaign and was a key drive in increasing sales and engagement on social media throughout the weekend.
