CRYSTALS IN COLLABORATION: A Cross-Disciplinary Investigation

  • Phaedra Dickson

A recent cross-disciplinary mini collaboration with fellow textile designer, and print specialist, Holly Gemmell. Both inspired by crystals for our recent projects, we collaborated to produce a series of investigative work, including wearable jewellery pieces and statement fittings for home interiors. Collaborative work during Covid-19 is challenging, but this mini project has proven to be a definite insightful and valuable experience. Being in different specialisms, we each brought contrasting skills and ideas, leading to a fun and exciting body of work.
