Culture Magazine

Date: June 2019. Location: London, UK. Brief: To create a gorgeously feminine illustration to accompany a magazine article on cultural appropriation. This was to demonstrate how cultural fashion should be worn, within a neatly in a 1:1 composition at 300 DPI. Specifically, I was asked for a portrait depicting an Indian woman wearing the bindi, and was given complete artistic direction over concept, composition, colours etc. It was incredibly important to me to create something that truly honours and respects cultural style, and I believe we really stayed true to that message.
