Years ago, I taught myself After Effects to become a motion designer because of my love of cartoons and animation - to this day I am continually learning new animation techniques. At Sprinklr, my role on the Customer Experience Centre (CXC) department involved designing and animating unique GIFs for Facebook and Twitter. These GIFs were designed to be personal responses to individuals, meaning they had to be specifically created for each post within a short amount of time to stay relevant. This created a unique challenge, with projects needing to be designed, animated and uploaded in a maximum of three hours. It was an incredible opportunity to learn new ways to be efficient within animation/motion graphics. I learnt skills that I’ve since applied to longer and more complex animations.
