Cycle, 2016

We designed a series of creative experiences throughout Shaare Zedek Medical Centre, Jerulsalem, that enhances patient experience and creates welcome distractions to engage with Art and Design.
No matter what race, colour or background you are from, the idea of HOPE drives us all - specially in times of medical need. This concept manifests itself into the idea of looking upwards towards the sky - a space of limitless possibilities. We all live under the same sky no matter where we come from. This idea became our subject matter, from magical characters in the children wards to the nuanced colour of the jerusalem sky in Cycle; the lighting installation that greets you in the lobby
We wanted to create an artwork that would make children smile when they enter the space, and make want to stay and explore the magical world on the walls. In addition, Cycle evokes the feelings of security, serenity and positivity that we wished to convey to the hospital's staff, patients and visitors on entry to the hospital.
