Dance Film 'Geometry Of Soviet Women'

'Geometry Of Soviet Women', directed and choreographed by inklingroom co-founder Keity Pook "30 millions of women are working in Soviet Union, the Geometry of the face wrinkles has not been learned" - these are the lyrics of Georgian avant-garde writer and artist Karlo Katcharava, which has inspired to produce this film. Filed recordings at the food markets in Tbilisi were collected by Tbilisi-based composer and multidisciplinary artist Nino Davadze, meeting women whose lives have not been changed ever since the collapse of the Soviet Union. The everyday lives of working-class women in Georgia and post-soviet countries, in general, is complex, static, underrepresented and inheriting the traumatic experiences of the next young female generation.
