Despite being a designer and on instagram for several years now, I never taken on a design challenge. Feeling that I was too busy or not motivated enough to do one. Now that I decided to go freelance I thought now was the best time to start and get out of my comfort zone as much as freelancing has done that for me already. The Brief: Create a logo for Alison Cosmetics brand, the colours had to consist of purples and pinks to fit the original branding and also avoid cursive typefaces so that the text was legible even at 2cm by 2cm. I decided to go beyond the brief (a tiny bit or maybe a lot...) by producing a primary logo as well as secondary and two submark logos. Which could be used for patterning on packaging and also on smaller product packaging. I’m really happy with the results of this design. Though I was worried about using pinks and purple for this, I am so happy how it has come together and how it comes across feminine but modern. You can see more on my work at: www.hanaimagines.co.uk
