I would like to nominate Honor Orange for the Dazed 100 2024. I nominate Honor because of her dedication to supporting independent artists, such as myself. By selling my work through ONSETT, she ensured that I earnt 100% of the profits. Her collaborations and support of local brands and international artists brings so much new and exciting work to light. Her dedication to the creativity of others is so rare and worth more than I can explain. She deserves this recognition for her own beautiful work. Words by Honor Orange: Founding and independently running my magazine ONSETT. ONSETT Magazine is an Art, Fashion and Culture directory. Designed to discourage traditional attitudes and replace with an unorthodox approach. Community rests at the foundation of our practices, we aim to collectively bring Manchester’s art scene together. With our second issue just released, our Manchester community gave us an incredible response. With over 90 individuals turning up to our launch party, to see the work myself and 20 other contributors had curated. I believe my dedication to community, opportunity, inclusivity has embedded my work strongly into independent publications. Despite not going to University; at 19 I took my passion in my stride with a simple vision to uplift and celebrate individuals through honest and true art - I'm now currently 20.
