ARISTHANE LABEL - ARISTHANE is a new Avant-Guard Outdoor and Performance Wear label pushing the boundaries of athletic wear dressing strong and powerful women in their everyday life and on their respective battlefields. Elevating traditional activewear with edgy aesthetic and engineered cuts, the eco-conscious label champions women, climbers, alpinists, sailors, martial art fighters, who thrives on rock, snow, water, in the backcountry, indoor … anywhere their fierce spirit and the wind takes them. More than a fashion label, ARISTHANE’s practice intends to manifest, season after season, a full new contemporary mythology aiming to build Universal culture(s) through the specific inspirations, native environments and beliefs of the many creatives and collaborators involve in the design process. ••• ••• ••• French-Algerian Parisian-born designer Maïssane Zinaï established her label Aristhane in September 2022 shortly after graduating the Fashion BA course at Central Saint Martins. Maïssane’s accolades include British Fashion Council Award in 2019 & 2021, Balenciaga Transmission International Competition winner in 2020, Alexander McQueen’s Sarabande Foundation Graduation Prize in 2022 and Net-A-Porter Vanguard Prize in 2022. She is a MullenLowe Prize nominee and a Fashion Trust Arabia 2023 Finalist. She can count as her mentors the british Designer Craig Green, British Vogue’s Fashion Director Julia Saar-Jamois and Eva Chen director of Fashion partnership at Instagram and Meta.
