Moeko Selebalo is an Artist and Designer based in Johannesburg South Africa. Moekolive has worked with institutions such as Tate Modern, Sotheby’s, and Palais de Tokyo, managing artist collections of artists such as Zanele Muholi, Dada Khanyisa, Irma stern and Ester Mahlangu to name a few. Beyond his work as a designer in the faculty of art, his approach is linked to indigenous knowledge systems. Which retains and archives traditional cultural relics. Having worked on urban development research and nature conservation, Moeko's works have been recognised by receiving an industrial design award - for a circular design, art installation, which has helped elevate a legislative bill on environmental development in his community. Furthermore Moeko has been sought after by the UNDP to contribute from 2025. By this nomination, Moeko is a changemaker and continues to make a difference for the better.
