Collectable vinyl toy creation

Based off an illustration I created many years ago, I wanted to try my hand at making my very own vinyl collectable. With assistance from a friend, a 3D hero print was made from the original illustration. A mould was cast using a vinyl resin that was liquified and then slowly hardened within 30 minutes. Then a 2-part resin was used to make the actual toy. The packaging was made using InDesign and old tapes were used to cushion the toy in the box. A "Certificate of Authenticity" gives the design a nice limited edition feel to the overall product. Liquitex spray paint ad Posca pens were used to create more personal designs on top of the toy.
