Death.Passing.

  • Dobrusia Kaminska

Death is a universal and inescapable phenomenon that cannot be avoided, nor delayed, in the human experience. Death is one of few conceptions that crosses cultural lines, is gender and racially unbiased, and thus far is out of our control to prevent. Death is certain given that it will happen to each person, but uncertain in the time at which or manner by which it will occur. Death. Passing. is a reflection on different aspects of death. The book is a time capsule of how people from different countries and cultures are dealing with death. The book is separated into five chapters, medical, philosophical, poetry, cultural, and art, all of them selected to propose a deeper understanding of death. This book can be the first step to help with dealing with losing someone, but can also be a tool to help to understand a most terrifying subject.
