DEHYAH Magazine (FMP)

DEHYAH is a new magazine made to shine a positive light on Black people. A platform which celebrates, educates and uplifts us as a community to tackle the stereotypes we still face. Yes, there may be a few bad apples, but there are also a few from every other race. Yet when it comes to our “few”, we all get dumped into a sea of negativity. There’s a great amount of Black youth who are doing amazing things to better themselves, others and the community, and this magazine will bring them to everyone’s attention. There’s an even greater amount of phenomenal Black historical figures who aren’t acknowledged. Our history has been whitewashed. Our future is being kept in the dark. The truth of who we are, what we have done and what we are doing must be known by all.
