The whole series was inspired by the beauty of the shapes of modern sailing yachts. The combination of white and blue (phthalocyanine blue) resulted in a pure form that directly reminds the coastal style. The whole series was made on high quality (Polish production) cotton painting canvases addition of 3D flax with a thickness of 3.5 and 2.5 cm. The very graphic form of the yacht blends with the visible structure of the brushstrokes, which gives the paintings individual character. Every painting is differing... The whole "is dressed" in a frame of 7cm and 5cm thick made by a local carpenter made of beech wood and lacquered manually in a professional high-gloss paint shop. It is also an intentional element referring to yachting.
