Depop Live

How can you translate a marketplace app from its digital form into a physical celebration of creativity?

Depop is the marketplace app empowering the next generation of creatives to transform fashion. To launch Depop in Soho, New York I created the concept, branding, advertisement campaign and exhibition graphics for Depop Live — a three-day festival celebrating how Depop's community is reshaping fashion with shoppable installations, workshops, music and talks.
Through using graphic frames to hero Depop's users, we visualised how Depop provides a space for creative expression and championed its platform approach. Strong red pops, digital design cues and playful touchpoints all developed Depop's core brand language and pushed it into a more contemporary realm.
This project was developed with Depop's internal team — while I was freelance Creative Lead there — and with our production partners Something Special Studios and Production Glue.
