Desi Daaru

This branding project for Desi Daaru Brewing was introduced to me by Pen & Chai. Desi Daaru is an an Indian brewery who were releasing an IPA packed with flavour. Each of the can designs I created were inspired by a different traditional Indian spice in a colourful way! Cinnamomum Stout: The design was inspired by the spice Cinnamon, obtained from the inner bark of several tree species from the genus Cinnamomum. Crimson Cost: The design was inspired by the spice Saffron. Obtained from the crimson stigma in the purple flower of Crocus sativus, it has long been the world's most costly spice by weight. Flowering Fruit IPA: The design was inspired by the spice Cumin. Obtained from the flowering fruit plant in the family Apiaceae. The seeds within the fruit are dried and used to create this delightful spice.
