For my First and Second year of University I had to choose a designer and focus, research and replicate their artwork in order to appreciate the form and design and also learn how to create beautiful designs and skills within the digital realm. All of my artwork was replicated from 'Cosmic Motors' - By Daniel Simon, a book I still treasure. I created all of the artwork by hand by re scaling the images myself via sketch work. I then imported my fine line work into both Illustrator and Sketchbook Designer where I was able to refine the outlines before importing this into Photoshop where I was able to learn how to give the artwork depth and bring it to life.
