My task was to manage the branding and stadium activations of one of the largest video games in history. With 120 million viewers, Masters Madrid was Valorant’s largest ever e-sports champs.
Scoll down to see the deliverables in action
The stadium roared at the final, as the winning team pick up the trophy from the stand I designed during the event.
The pinnacle piece of my time with Valorant was designing their winners trophy stand with a butterfly structure, flying up from the base.
Promoting the new agent [game character] the theme was all around transient space, motifed by the butterfly. Creating a circular structure around a galvanised frame, I was able to create something the team was truly proud of.
I managed the prodcution and installation of all brand pieces across the venue, including the press conference backdrops and faschias, broadcast materials, stage scenic pieces and more.
I added 10ft flags to greet players in and create a behind the scenes format.
With a state-of-the-art inkcaptured acrylic gloss bound sign, we were able to create a smooth and unintrusive brand space on the front of the host desk.
Wrapping the map select in electric flowing brand elements, created a captivating pre-screen for the games.
Reinventing the way Valorant display their scoring and predictions, I created a new metalic board piece with removable backgrounds, with a new adjusted magnet design to better fit their playing teams' logos.
Who doesn't love a beautifully lit 7 metre long photo moment!
In total I managed the production of over 1200 items of brand collateral, signage and advertising that brought the event to life from a variety of 14 bio friendly substrates in over 200 locations.
We wrapped stadium pillars, branded VIP bars, artworked the front facade, created backdrops for broadcast media and supported the production team in bringing the set to life on stage.
