Visit Pembrokeshire is Wales’ first Destination Management Organisation, representing the country’s southwestern county of Pembrokeshire.

Since May 2021, I have been managing Visit Pembrokeshire’s social channels at mr.h. I work on the content strategy and create content for the brand’s Instagram and Facebook pages.

In tandem with other marketing activations executed by our team, the brand’s social media activity aims to raise the county’s profile, improve awareness of its year-round offering, and drive sustainable tourism to the region.

Within the first three months of work, we have generated over one million impressions and 50k engagements on Instagram, with the average engagement rate being 5,4% (x4 times higher than the industry average), while the account's followership has grown by 26%.

On Facebook, our follower count has been an increase of 18%, with the latest month engagement results in July outperforming the previous month by 16% – indiciating a healthy growth.
