DIVAs

I'm Karen Stanley, a queer fine art and fashion photographer based in London. Working with digital and analog combinations and mixed media, I create work that has a textured and vintage feel. This is an ongoing project with models such as Violet Chachki and Amanda Lepore. Inspired by Hollywood technicolour, pop art & vintage magazines, I've created a unique and textured style celebrating sexuality. Collaging the final images with a mixture of analog and digital photography, I love to see texture and evidence of physical elements in my work. Working with pre digital methods in graphic design to give the work a unique feel in a digital age.
