DJ MALUCO ( MAD DJ)
This is the first sketch that I did on my first visit to brazil. I was inspired by a DJ who was incredible and put the crowd into a frenzy. He looked like he was a little crazy so I designed this image and used the Portuguese word for crazy, Maluco.
I began to add more detail and look at how I wanted tone and position of the illustration. This was a personal project but many people wanted me to put it on a t. shirt. So I designed it with a t.shirt idea in mind.
This is how the final illustration was completed. It took over 6 months to complete as it took many directions.
I wanted to include some elements of Rio de Janiero club vibe. I finished by designing the text and think it looks great on a T.shirt.
